É com enorme prazer e orgulho que dou conhecimento da homologação, pela Federação Mundial de Karate – WKF, da graduação do Mestre Jaime Pereira em 8º Dan, que lhe havia sido atribuída por Kiichi Nakamoto, Hanshi, 10º Dan de Karate e Kobudo e Presidente da Ryukyu Traditional Kobujutsu Preservation Association e do Goju-ryu Okinawa-kan Karate-do Institute.
It is my great honor and pleasure to introduce Jaime Sequeira Pereira Sensei as the newest 8th DAN degree in Karate, by the World Karate Federation, one of the few in Europe and the highest rank in Portugal.
Jaime Pereira Sensei is one of the founding fathers of Karate in Portugal, Goju ryu in particularly, and an extraordinary teacher, an exceptional mentor and a remarkable human being.
It is a source of great pride to all Portuguese, and particularly to all Portuguese karatekas, that this brilliant Sensei has been awarded with such a prestigious recognition.
Jaime Pereira Sensei had the high privilege of being direct student and representative (Shibucho) of the great Eiichi Miyazato Sensei, one of the world’s highest authorities in Goju ryu Karate.
At the present time, Jaime Pereira Sensei represents in Europe Kiichi Nakamoto Sensei, 10th DAN Hanshi, another great master in Karate and Kobudo from Okinawa.
